That bamboo located beside my banana and longan tree, it is 3 years old now, given by my uncle in Kangar...
It consider as easy growth plant, it growth a bit slow at my garden as the soil is bit hard for tree... But now... seem like she find a breakthrough way... from soil, banana, longan and daun inai...
My mother and i spend some time for prunning, to reduce "density" of leaf in garden, but main purpose to get the "chang heok", 粽叶 for chinese dumplings season...
If you plan to keep, you may keep it this way, to avoid the leaf become curly, which will make the wrapping process more difficult...
Before use, you need to clean... plain water will be fine to get a leaf free from dust and fur...
My mother start the wrapping process, today she didn't do bak chang, but red bean. Which is more suitable to wrap with green leaf...

Bamboo shoot 竹笋 is another product of bamboo tree... It is a new bamboo culms that come out of the ground... Bamboo shoot is material for mother on some delicious oriental dishes...
This is a bigger one, it can be eat before it turn to woody... one way to verify whether that shoot turn to woody is use your leg to kick it... it will break at the right location where woody starting...
After removing sterm and cleaning process, mom just leave it in water for few days.... hehe...Bamboo is also usefull to build up any thing.... during my secondary school, harvesting bamboo is an important activities before our camping, we use that to build our headquater, camp and fencing... And now, mom use that to pick mango fruit from tree, and building rack to support her vine or climbing plant like Long Bean and Morning Gory.
As summary... Bamboo tree is very usefull and fully utilized by people, especially for my mom during this dumpling season... Happy Dumpling Day for all!!! hehe....

Upon enter to the farm; I saw an in-progress building, which used to collect bird nest, the owner is designing that himself... Next to building is lake, digged to improve the landscape, this land is not flat at the early stage of development from a bush. As well, this lake used to accumulate water from mountain, that is unpoluted and free... And for sure, this nice lake also occupied by fish as well, here is really ideal for fishing, and from my inspection, i guess those some of those single fish is probably more few kilogram weight...
Unfortunately, in the nature cycle chain of food, those fish regardless of size was victim for local resident - hawk and lizard 四脚蛇 (some link name that kind of lizard as "common water monitor") . I'm doubt initially untill i saw this... for sure is not left over from curry fish head.
Unpoluted environment become a nice habitat for some insect, i never see an "alive" dragon fly in blue color and red color 红青蜓, but i can see here....
He is the one who run the farm, in this closed where plant growth from seed, must not have any butterfly or insert, cause their caterpillar just like eat more than anything...
To run an organic farm, you must find out different way to fertilize your plant, manure of goat, chicken and cow is rich with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potash, but you need to buy if you didnt feed any, or you can buy some manufactured natural enzyme digested proteins, fish meal and feather meal. Or you can have a composting site, it applied prinsip of sustainable biodegradable waste management for a farm or a family, you can compost all sort of dry plant material like leaves which shall be highly available especially in this organic farm where grass is not controlled with chemical... 
Honestly i do not know many name of vegetable that Comfort organic farm grow, what i know is corn, lady finger, pineapple and watermelon. hehe....
